ragefire and cleric epic

Hello everyone. I was wondering if there was a specific pnp rule around ragefire on the server. Is it on turn in is it on engage or is it plain ffa?

Also I am guessing it is widely farmed for red dragon loots. Do you think a high strong guild would take the offer of spawning it for the right to loot only the epic item (I mean I trigger, they kill, I get my epic and they grab the rest) ? Or are there way enough twinks or farmers being able to spawn the dragon?

Spawn is contested. Heart is worth ~ 40kish, bring the plat and I'm sure they'd let you loot it. First to turn in the pearl gets 20 minutes, but this shit is kinda hazy and usually once they've turned in the pearl barring a wipe and letting it sit for like 30+ minutes you usually don't touch it afterwards. Have pearl in hand when window is open and have friends nearby. Turn in and get em there asap :P Can be duo'd fairly easily by appropriate classes.

After turning in the pearl you get a 20 minute window to engage.

If the guild/group/etc wipes, then it turns FFA.

Yep I've seen people turn the pearl in and relinquish the loots to whoever is helping them so they can get their epic.

Personally I camped it for 15-16 hours, kept the TMO scouts at bay... and had people on call camped, and some waiting with me. Gave everyone who came to help a roll on the items (all greed for non-no drop stuff) [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Spent probably 2-3 different 6 hour sessions and another 4-5 different 2 hour sessions at Ragefire.

Seen him spawn once and the pearl was turned in within the first second. I didn't even get a trade window opened hehe.

That camp blows so much balls. I was glad to see it was rotated back in the day on this server. Shame that ended and cleric MQ sales replaced it.

So you dont consider possible that Pearl versus Heart (if they get all the rest) is a fair trade?

That's what makes it an unnecessary bottleneck, I think it's probably worse now than its ever been with the higher peak server pop.

Remove MQs, remove a lot of grief for a lot of people...and make people go through the processes they were meant to go through to get their epics etc.

Epic MQs are really, really bad :| Probs should be eliminated--is the cause of most of the cockblocking complaints we get in all of p99, really. I've made my fair share of epic mq cash, but yeah, it keeps them on permanent lockdown.

A lot of people camp RF for red armor, scales, and cloaks.

I'm sure if you talked to some of the more frequent pearl folks they'd be happy to do your deal.

Depends entirely on who is camping it, me and my partner did this a handful of times, not having to sock it is worth forfeiting the heart

You sock it and I'll 100% log on to help you kill it for a chance at the non-heart stuff, as will most people.
