ok I tried to open the launch batch file

I followed the instructions on how to get this game working. I deleted the necesary files and then extracted the files in order for the game to run. I launched the launch batch file but it said "windows cannot find eqgame make sure you type the name correctly." Can anyone help me with this.

You must run it by pressing enter, or double clicking the file. If you press "open" in your task bar, it does not work. This is my exp.

I had the same issue on my laptop. I just created a shortcut from eqgame with the "patchme" at the end of the target line and it worked. There is a more detailed explanation in the tech forum.
