NPC Spawn Issue: Dragoon Szorn (lesser faydark) too magic resistant?

Talk of many level 45 to 50 people soloing with no mention of high magic resist problems (they are landing roots and snares without issue).

I went to fight him last night as a 56 necromancer had despite casting 5+ roots not a single spell was able to land on him.

Will attempt some more, but can his MR setting be looked at?

Edit: Darkness line and fear seems to stick ok, maybe root is just having a resist streak for me (good ol RNG)

53 shaman tried yesterday, too.
At least 12 resists in a row of Enstill. Had to zone.

Tested more for the last 2 hours, have the following data:

Out of 34 Invoke Fears (neg 20 MR check) cast on him, 12 of them (35%) were fully resisted.

Out of 61 Dooming Darkness cast on him, 38 (62%) were fully resisted.

Out of 16 Splurts (neg 100 MR check), 1 (6%) of them were fully resisted.

This seems a little high for a level 56 necromancer casting on a level 45 mob.

Going to check on the faction gains now - the allakhazam thread mentions he is supposed to give a +100 faction hit on kill (to TheDead and Queen in Neriak), but the p99 wiki mentions a +10 bonus (although wiki has been off before).

Just tested the faction, nowhere near +100 a kill (but who knows, the alla poster could have been completely off).
