Cannot change resolution Radeon 2400

I'm running a dual monitor Radeon 2400 setup and I can't change the resolution of the client. It defaulted to 1600x1200 and trying to change it in the options has no effect.

This resolution is fine for height but not for width, as it hangs over the edge of the monitor by about 20%.

Disabling the second monitor didn't help - the window got squashed leading to pixelation issues.

I've tried all the resolution settings in the Options down to 800x600 and restarted the client after each one, but to no effect.

It's not a crisis - I can play as I've moved the UI elements onto the single monitor and am ignoring the overhang - but would be nice to get it sorted. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great?
