Need a helping hand here, because im half computer illiterate and shit

So I hadnt played in a few months and no when I log in of course I get the need to update spell files and all that at charator screen

So when I do what it says and download the patch notes and whatnot and try to extract it and overwrite files in the everquest directory, winrar gives me a list of files on the left that cannot be wverwritten im guessing, because it says access is denied. I AM the admin for this computer and all that, so I really dont know where to go from here.

Any hlpe is much appreciated

have you tried to unzip it somewhere else and copy paste manually?

Next idea is to move your EQ folder out of your program files folder and then redo your shortcut.
