Just saw Hadden up while on my 29 chanter on red so figured I'd give him a whirl. Hadden conned dark blue (probably level 28), and after a tash, he resisted 4 roots, then a root stuck but only lasted about a tick, then he resisted suffocate. At that point I said "screw this" and zoned.
I looked through all the zam comments from the oldest up through all of 2003 and did not see one mention of him being ridiculously MR (yes, ridiculously MR - I was dealing with evens and yellows in perma yesterday and they didn't resist nearly that much WITHOUT tash), though there were plenty of posts from characters in their 30s killing him. Edit - found a comment of a 33 killing Hadden; he specifically talks about rooting and snaring Hadden and doesn't mention any trouble:

Also, I notice a recurring theme of people saying that Axe and Rephas both assist Hadden if you are remotely close to Hadden's level. I did lull Axe, but when I tashed Hadden to pull (he was standing immediately in front of Axe's hut), Rephas didn't budge either.
