Default Thank you Derubael/Sirken

Well despite there not being enough low levels to make it their fast enough as Thepen and others did ports, But other 60s were determined to kill it regardless of level bracket gm event. Either way congrats everything, good kills. The DT's were pretty funny, was interesting seeing the rez rushing going at it, not sure how much hp it had total, I did see one wizard nuke drop it 13% though.

Grats all to their loots, I won jboots very luckily with 997 and 5+ other 900+ rolls. after a little incident with someone linking jboots just as peg cloak rolls went off, thank you sirken for sorting it [You must be logged in to view images. interesting that your /who list doesn't include Utanven (or any of the Nihilum that rolled in after his death), who was basically given a stave of shielding.

otherwise, good times were had. just need to be more fair to actual contributors. Thepen and those lowbies he brought, a few other lowbies (apparently including Jupe), and a group of Red Dawn dropped VS.

not quite sure why those Nihilum members were given a chance to roll (regardless of their feelings on the subject). seems like a glaring disregard for the lowbies and other people involved that took all those exp deaths.

perhaps even the GMs take Nihilum's stance and feel it was unfair to other low level players on the way to the event when we came at the mob so heavily with high 50s, but the mob did die by the low level and Red Dawn players there, and we were in the process of randoming it all off before Utanven and his Nihilum pals came to slay the Red Dawn present surrounding the corpse.

the whole situation was kind of poorly handled by GMs, in my opinion.

Pretty awesome that GMs ask 60s to come help, then allow Nihilum to kill everyone after the mob dies. On top of that, you allow those said Nihilum to roll on the VS loot and WIN when they had nothing to do with the actual kill. ON TOP OF THAT, the people who helped in the fight and died to pvp, got no rez and no chance to roll on the drops. Seems fair. Next time I won't play my porter and help randoms get to the event to have fun.

Given the chance after the fact, I'd have paid an enormous amount of plat to avoid participating in this event, as it was once again just an opportunity for Nihilum to screw over the rest of the server while the GMs watch and laugh.

Good job turning a good idea into something toxic Deru/Sirken. At this point you're pissing more people off than making them happy with these events.

Thepen and I don't even like each other as of recent, and this is basically how I saw what happened at the end. I had access on the corpse (playing Brea). I kept it locked, and when Nihilum came to shit stomp, I looted the staff to keep them from jacking all the loot on the corpse (the guise being the only item we had legitimately /random 100'd for between all players present for the kill at that point).

Seemed overall pretty damn shady. You can spin that we mostly killed VS with higher levels, but lowbies WERE present and the mob DID die to us. No Nihilum whatsoever even damaged the mob, let alone were in the zone for its death. Yet somehow one of their members received the only droppable, arguably most valuable piece of loot from the mob.
