Game Mechanics: PC Race NPCs don't drop racial meat

So this is making the HEHE meat quests in Oggok really hard to do. No NPCs seem to drop their race meat (i.e. human meat, erudite meat, high elf meat, dark elf meat, etc.). I've killed bandits, looted guards, killed dervs, killed nobles in Innothule, all that fun stuff. Not a single slab of succulent sentient flesh. I remember this being an amusingly common drop back in the classic days.

There's a dark elf in NRO who drops dark elf meat, a troll in Tox who drops troll meat, and I think the hermit in SK drops human meat? Anyways, you probably just have to look harder.

edit: also this isn't to say that you haven't noticed an inconsistency (you need to provide proof though), just to say that the quests are still possible.

I destroyed gnome meat off of Findlegrob/Sindlegrob/Bindlegrob.

There was a halfling meat in the bag until yesterday but I destroyed it when I was cleaning out my bank.

Not sure how I could provide proof other than to FRAPS all of my playing sessions for hours on end, which would fill up my hard drive pretty fast. I could provide a chart of all the mobs I've killed and correlate them to drop rates off of classic EQ websites on the way back machine, but that would be quite the task. Also it would be yet another assumption that my research was valid and that what I was saying was true.

Is there specific type of proof that I need to provide? I'm not lying when I say that I have committed genocide on a global Norrathian scale and have yet to see a single "Parts" drop. I haven't even seen any on a vendor except for Boomba the Big.

Proof vs proof is not a personal attack. No need to get defensive. The meat does drop. It just doesn't drop off of every NPC of a given race. It was about the same on live. But, if you think that it should drop off of something that it doesn't currently, a link to something documenting the drop would be ideal.

The guide says that it's not a complete list, but it should at least serve as a cross reference to see if there's anything on the list that should drop racial meats, but isn't.
