the patcher doesnt work anymore. have to goto the news and announcement section and find the latest patch and download it then extract it to your EQ folder. Should get a bunch of overwrite warnings which you should accept. Then you should be able to log in using the EQ shortcut.

yeah i did that like always. it gets stuck on connecting
