Says spells file needs updating, but already did it
Installed patch files V31, and character select still says old spell file. My roommate playing on his comp fine, copied his enter EQ directory over, and still mine won't work. Any ideas?

I often get this error when nothing is wrong but a lousy connection to server.

server is bunk for some of us. over 60% of the time when I zone, I crash. When I log in I have no characters. when I log in it tells me to update files. when I log in I see no servers. when I log in it says timeout error has occurred. getting very frustrating.
seems gms want to point their fingers at our isp and shurg but I have no problem with my isp doing anything else on the internet with a 50mb connection. perhaps it's some routing issue with my isp to their isp but my traces come up just fine. when I play at my friends house on the same laptop I use at home I have NONE of these issues so it may be isp related but it's not something I can just call them and have fixed. something had to of changed on the p99 end that makes our isp not work well with this server. It's also not just one ISP, ive seen many mentioned. myself I am on verizon. | ||

I still crash any time I /camp, from any zone, on any account.
