Default Druid vs Shaman (without Torpor) as a solo class in Velious?

Since Velious is coming out sometime soon, I was just wondering what some of your opinions would be on which class would be the better class for a solo player in Velious, Druid or Shaman? Something to add is I will most likely never be able to get the Torpor spell, however I do have access to a Manastone that I could use on either character.

I normally only play solo because of the random times I am online, however having the ability to be a semi support / healing class also is appealing sometimes too, which is why I am saying Shaman or Druid, and leaving out Necro/Enchanter/Mage etc.

What are your thoughts / opinions?

Only big ticket mob druids can solo in velious is Lodizal, and possibly a few of the west waste dragons.

Wouldn't count yourself out on Torpor in Velious! Lot more raid mobs, so lots more spells should be dropping. A lot of groupable stuff too. I know I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

As far as your question, I know there are places to quad in Velious, so you could probably get to 60 faster on a druid. Soloing efficiently on a shaman is usually pretty gear-dependent (epic, jbb, fungi). I don't have any of that shit, and I can kill a lot of stuff, but because of the downtime it's more suited to farming items than exp. So I would say it depends on what you're trying to accomplish solo.
