Default Ranger + Monk + ???

Wondering which class you guys think would benefit a Monk / Ranger duo the best? For just a 3 person team that doesn't really plan to do a lot of grouping outside the 3 of us, which class would you guys go with for being the 3rd?

Yah, shammy or druid. Mebbe cleric. You've got hecka utility with the ranger; snares, roots, spot heals, SoW, levi, enduring breath, DPS. . . You got hecka tanks and pulls with the Monk. Let's see? Would you rather have ports or a healer with limitless mana on account of Cannibalize? Do you want a reliable rezzer with a cleric? Your call.

I'd also say Shaman is probably your best bet. As other said, Clr/Enc could work. With Druid you'd be doubled up on a lot of your utility, but if you want ports you could go that route. Also Bard or Necro could work if you like fear kiting. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah I would have said druid if there wasn't a ranger. If you're going to have a druid in grp, that ranger might as well be a warrior so you dont penalize grps exp.

Shaman hands down. Shaman and monk can duo most group content.

Ranger is just gravy...and who doesn't like gravy?

Oh my josh, I forgot bards. +attack speed. +resists. -mob attack speed. +HP and mana regen. Lulls. Mez. DoT. Levi invis enduring breath. -40% exp though. I dunno if you want the ranger -40%, monk -20%, and a bard -40%. That is like .. eh 20% XP gain. The hybrid XP penalty drops off sometime in late Velious tho
