Monk Weapons

Hi All, two questions:

1. I've been camping bandits on my 17 necro for Bronze weapons and sashes (xp AND bronze weapons) and have built up around 400pp. I know prices vary, but I'm thinking about buying a couple of monk weapons (I plan on making my monk my main). Looking specifically at Knuckle Dusters and Canes of the Tranquil.

I know that I probably don't have enough plat for both at the moment, but my question is as a monk am I better off buying 1 KD and 1 CoT at the same time or am I better off buying 2 KDs or 2 CoTs? Or are there other weapons I'm not considering that I should.

2. At level 17 on the Qeynos side of the continent is there a better place to farm plat on my necro? I don't mind farming a bit longer to buy the weapons that I want, but if I can do it faster I would love to.
