firepot port to cabilis

Due to RL I needed to log in the middle of my boat ride to Kunark yesterday, so I took refuge on an island, and am thinking of swimming to the firepots. Never done this before so a little intrigued. My question is:

As a human monk hopping the firepot to Cabilis, will I get immediately owned by lizards, or will I arrive in a place where I can make it. I suppose the better question is: Where does the firepot spit me out?

for sure I am was just concerned when he zones out. I know the guards in FoB would love to get a piece of that monk ass.
