 | IP Address Question..Diff Laptop Hey All, Right now I'm playing EQ on Laptop A, Ive got Laptop B sitting in the other room..Older laptop but better specs. Was curious, If I install EQ on laptop to play here on project 1999,...Am I going to run into any IP address issues? Im a noob with this stuff.. Is the IP address specific to my router? or to the actual computer.. Thanks! | ||

 | Not sure what you mean by IP address issues - could you be more specific? IP addresses are not based on your computer, they are based on whatever you are connecting to the internet from - in this case, your router. | ||

 | As long as you're not doing both simultaneously, you shouldn't have an issue. Login on one, play, then log out, and you can then do the same on the other.

 | You can log in to blue on one laptop and into red on another if you really want to be doing 2 things at once. However, there's a popular idea among new players that they'll log Character B in to buff or help level Character A, and this is what gets people suspended/banned.

 | Aslong as you dont have 2 accounts running at same time on blue you are fine. Your thinking of IP issues that don't exist.
