![]() I'd like some info about what tradekill recipes are accessible and what are not? Its tough to tell this early on what is make-able and what is not. The good ole try it an see what happens is safe enough but .. ahhh Very costly when ya start talking about trying to craft some cultural armors?
So anywho Any thoughts and idea's on this would be awesome, Thank yas

![]() The best I can give ya is to check out eqtraders and filter through "Old World" recipes.
For example with baking. I'm sure there are other sites more useful for classic tradeskilling but I don't think I've found them yet.

![]() I'm not sure cultural smithing/recipes were added until around the Velious era. I could be wrong though.

![]() No cultural recipes. the p1999 companion has good tradeskill info.
None are really worth your time as a purely money-making enterprise, do whichever ones you enjoy. You'll need many for vel shawl quests if you're min-maxing.

![]() Since we are on the subject - I was still toying with the idea of a Ranger - and in case anyone else wants the info...
Does anyone know when Karana fletching was fully added? I never played a ranger in EQlive - but if I recall... The Wood Elf Tunare fletchers had a major advantage for a while because of the goodies they could fletch and Karana was left with just 'plain old' stuff. Is Karana fletching that includes some of the better items already in or? But on the subject of the thread - the Wiki may have some info. I know for a fact Blacksmithing info's in there [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] - I found a couple of old guides to Blacksmithing on EQTraders, and added it to some info found using 'the wayback machine'. I got one more thing to add - there was a real old guide from classic about how to raise your blacksmithing skill and just where to go - if I recall. It's been long since gone from the web - but I have a printed copy. I'll try to re-post it, if the existing guides don't already have the same info. http://moestaverne.com/p1999wiki/index.php/Main_Page

![]() Here you go:
EDIT: Bah, just click on the recipe link... Baking Brewing Fletching Jewelcraft Poisons Pottery Smithing It's not perfect but that most of the info that players had back in November of 1999 shortly before Kunark. ------------------------------------------- On a side note stat foods should be removed from the wiki as they were never in classic. They were introduced APRIL 17, 2001. Source: http://www.tski.co.jp/baldio/patch/20010417b.html

![]() wow alot of that is missing so much information that was in the game then.
I really think we're just going to have start remaking our own loot and Trading compendiums. trying to adapt to old stuff that was never fully done in the first place is asking for trouble.

![]() Quote:
Essentially, anything that can be made with classically available components was classic and works unless posted on the Broken Tradeskill Combines thread in the bug forums. Edit, also Eqtraders was under a different website until late 1999. Which is why it doesn't go back farther on the wayback archives. Finding classic information is a painstaking process, but has been a collaborative and largely successful attempt one item at a time.
