Default Best 2H for SK? (Other than epic)

That I could purchase, when I sell my Ebon Mace for 15-17k

I'm trying to fear kite hill giants for the plat so I could afford HBC, Granite Bracer, Hammerhead Helm, etc.

I have around 1600 HP, 900 Attack, 805 AC at level 40 on my Ogre SK.

182 Str
154 Stam
76 Dex
79 Agility
87 Intel

From a PvE sit and melee standpoint, Ebon Mace is going to be close to equal DPS to the best 2handers while also allowing for shield/bash.

2hander wise, the best DPS/buck is going to be a BrokenSkull Club, but they haven't dropped for a long time. If you're playing blue, GFG (29/36 for 12k) and Jade Inlaid Crescent Axe (32/40 for 15k) are the next best thing. If you're playing red, I'd go with Oggok Cleaver (44/60).

Rod of Mourning is also good, but won't be affordable for 15-17k

Ratios:
Ebon Mace 0.792
BrokenSkull Club 0.805
GFG 0.806
RoM 0.806
Jade Inlaid Crescent Axe 0.800
Oggok Cleaver 0.733

The negative stats on the BrokenSkull Club won't matter much if you're fear kiting. Its also the cheapest option - the issue is only that they haven't dropped for a long time.

My suggestion is to hold out with the Ebon Mace.

Won't I kill faster with a 2h?

From a pure melee standpoint, not by much, if any.

The damage gains would come mostly from using the larger 2h delay to weave spells between casts or to miss less swings on moving targets.

Ebon Mace is just such a strong item in Kunark - there aren't any droppable 2handers that make it worth ditching the Mace/Atra shield combo.

Thanks man, guess I'll hold on to Ebon Mace and try my best to make plat.

Rod of Mourning is a great leveling weapon when you get to low-mid 50s. The stun is very useful in a group, but doesn't make much of a difference fear kiting. Big delay is great for casting as has been said.

Also you might be able to pick up a Khyldorn somehow. I'm pretty sure almost every Khyldorn on server is rotting in bank; I know Zeelot and I haven't used ours in forever.

You do the Sky quest like the item page says...

The hard part is you need to loot the Blood Sky Ruby off of Eye of Veeshan. The efreeti axe probably isn't that hard to come by, bloodstained hilt is painfully common (island 7 has a very small loot table) and dulcet nectar isn't common but there's got to be a number of them floating around unused somewhere. And you need level 46.

And sadly, it isn't red. It looks like Soul Leech.

I've found the Oggok Cleaver to be the most effective droppable weapon for an SK. As Pasi mentioned, you can weave casts in between swings. Even with some haste it still has a sizeable delay for this purpose, and you get the opportunity to snare joust with it very effectively.

from here: http://wiki.project1999.com/Category...ight_Equipment

I went to here: http://http://wiki.project1999.com/S...ht/2H_Slashing

Wiki is awesome - that first link should help you determine what the best weapon you can get for your class is.
