Fantasy football crossroads

So here is the deal. I have Knowshon Moreno and KC def in my yahoo league. The Broncos and Chiefs will play twice this year. I'm not a big fan of starting a running back to play against my defense and vise versa because one of them is gonna loose. So do I start Moreno or KC def? My subs are Chris Johnson and whatever defense I can pick up from free agents.

Earlier this year I would of said bench the Def but now that the Bronco's have cooled off. I just don't know.

Start Moreno. You can pick up any FA defense, the point difference is minimal compared to a top 10 RB. A good pair of RB's in fantasy football is all you need to win.

you do realize that KC def has scored more points than most RBs? Only Jamaal Charles has more and its not by much. The Def also has scored 36 more points than the 2nd place Def.

As a matter of fact overall, KC def is 9th in points scored overall. They create such a big miss match for my opponent. Always knowing that my defense is gonna outscore their defense by 10 points is like having an extra wideout (KC has outscored every wide out btw).

I'm just sayin when you look at the stats, the decision isn't that simple.

The defense isnt going to score alot of points vs peyton manning. Start moreno and pickup a D like others have suggested. I'd put more money on moreno getting 50 yards and a score over manning not torching KC D for 35 points and maybe giving up a pick or 2.

We aren't talking about most RB's, were talking about Moreno. He has averaged 18 pts per game so far. I understand KC DEF has had 20 pt games, but it's up against struggling offenses (Jax, NY, Oak, ect). I wouldn't play KC Def when they play Denver, just pick up a FA that will get you a few points.

There is a reason DEF/ST are drafted so late and RB/WR are drafted so early

I prolly will bench the Def but if the broncos continue to slide offensively I dunno. Jacksonville def (lol) got 8 points against manning and the colts got 11 points. So it's not like he's gonna "scorch" KC's defense.

I guess we'll see in 4 weeks. I'll prolly bump this topic after the Bronco's have played a few games.

That's because its hard to find a team that runs the ball. Nothing to do with point production. It's all about mismatches. And KC's mismatch thus far is way better than Morenos. I got screwed in the draft btw. Doug Martin, Aaron Rodgers, Chris Johnson 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round picks (auto draft). I give no shits damns or fucks I would take KC def over doug martin any day of the week.

Guess you havent been playing FF that long going that you would take KC def over a RB anyday and that you did a autodraft league to begin with. Why bother coming here asking for suggestions if your just gonna do what you want anyway? Did you want some random person to tell you its ok to start KC def and sit moreno and it make you feel better? Personally i have no issues starting a RB i have vs a Def i have i would be more concerned when it came to starting a QB that i have vs Def i'm choosing.
