UI spellbar fix

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you smarter people could help me fix an issue I'm having with a UI frame I downloaded from eqinterface.

I was wondering if there is a way to get rid of the spellgems so that only the background of the spell icon shows which I believe is the icon but not looking like the gem which isn't even centered properly.

I tried to mess around with the files but I wasn't successful at getting rid of the gem. If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
