New Player Paladin help!

Hi just started playing Project 1999 after trying EQ1 F2P as I wanted to play the past version of the game as I recalled it when i was younger.


So question, currently I created a Half Elf Paladin and chose my starting city to be Felwithe, so level 1 there I am, I hand the note off the the Paladin Trainer named Tynkale.

Now I never played a Paladin in the past and I know to look about the internet to find answers to quests regarding issues I may face as some of the quests are not so straight forward.


After I give Tynkale the initial note in my inventory, I gain faction rep and all that jazz, then i hail him to figure out if he has any tasks/quests for me to level up on.

He gives me the key words [service to the Clerics of Tunare] , so I repeat it back to him and nothing. I went to a few nearby NPCs such as the priest of discord just to double check if something is wrong with myself but no. The other nearby NPC's respond to me after I reply to their key pharses.



Is this NPC bugged or am I missing something? Does he just say that line of text and leave me be for the rest of the game?
