Default Music Issues

Anyone else had issues with the music in certain areas being slightly off-key, with seemingly no reason? I was waiting on the boat from Qeynos to Erudin the other day and was enjoying the wonderful East Freeport docks music. Anyway, when I returned to Qeynos roughly an hour later, the music was notably different- parts of the piece were correct, but the loudest part of the song was flat by at least a whole note, maybe two. The result was a quite amusingly terrible sounding song. And this was not the first time this has happened either- I remember being in Rivervale and experiencing the same thing.

It seems to happen at random, and usually zoning corrects it but I'm just wondering if anyone is aware of the cause of this phenomenon, or has experienced it themselves?

I'm having the same issue but zoning doesn't correct it for me. I noticed it as recently as today when I was near the inn in Northern Ro. That gorgeous gypsy music started up so I stopped to listen... until the melody picked up and was super off-key. [You must be logged in to view images. It has also happened in West Freeport and the Ocean of Tears.

Here is a thread about making the midi music sound better. Not sure it will help but I had off key midi issues before installing a program in this thread. Some use Bassmididrv, I am using Virtual Midi Synth. Also makes some of the music in Kaladim and Freeport sound better.

I don't know if your suggestion is what fixed the issue, but the Northern Ro inn music sounds the way it should! I'm heading to Kelethin next to hear the difference you mentioned. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Thank you so much!
