Quest Issue: spawning a spirit of flame

I've killed Schmendrik Lavawalker a couple times on p99 with no spawn of a spirit of flame. He should be spawning upon death, even if you don't turn in Lord Bergurgle's Crown. This used to be a valid method to avoid worrying about Natasha ks'ing you and having to go back to farming Bergurgle again.

After you get that, the next part is fairly easy, go kill shmendrick lavawalker and it should spawn a spirit of flame, loot the spirit after killing him. Hopefully the nec is still there to help if u r under lvl 50. Shmendrick will take another 3 hours to spawn, when he does give him the crown off Lord Bergurgle. I suggest doing it in this order, because I do not know if the spawning natasha that kills shmendrik will KS the spirit from you or not, if she does, it is back to the gob cave.

I had to redo this part too. Let me tell you how stupid I was so no one else makes the same mistakes.
1. I camped begurgle with my necro, and looted the crown with my necro, with my cleric on the samw account. I firgured I could turn it in, kill the elemental, and log on my cleric immidiatly to finish that step, it doesn't work like that. This is how I got my cleric Jboots, but it didn't work with this step of the epic.
2. My cleric was only level 42, whick might be a factor in the quest working (unconfirmed). Some epics, such as the rogue epic and others, requires you to be atleast 51, this may be the case with the cleric epic.
3. I didn't kill Schmendrik to get the turn in piece first, it is a must that you do this.

-Killing Shmendrik Lavawalker spawns a spirit of flame.
-Upon spawning, a spirit of flame will attack the closest entity (may include Natasha Whitewater; beware).

I've killed Shmendrik Lavawalker twice today, and neither spawned a spirit of flame. Still bugged, I think.

There were two different Shmendrik spawns.

After patch, it will work.. and also Natasha will exit from the cabin, not spawn next to Shmendrik.
