Not quite, however Cecily's belief system states that the panda has no soul/feelings/consciousness and that randomly slaughtering or otherwise causing the panda horrendous suffering can be done with 0 consequence since the panda is part of the world which has been gifted to man by God to use and abuse as man sees fit.

Only to the bear, and those oppressed as a result of the pandas beliefs (mostly bamboo leaves).
