Default EverQuest Ruins of Kunark Cloth Map

http://imgur.com/a/Z0X83

Found this while cleaning things up and preparing to move, check it out!

Also, anyone ever successfully "iron" out one of these or get the creases out otherwise? I definitely will be looking into different ways in which to smooth it out. I'd love to get it nice and flat, put it in a vacuum sealed frame and put it on a wall.

yeah I remember getting this cloth map. I though I was the shiznit
O yeah, I meant to ask. Was there a Velious cloth map or just plastic/paper? I ebayed around a bit and noticed there was a cloth map from later expansions but I'm not *too* interested in those.

And I am the shiznit! Boyeeee.

Try steam perhaps? Direct heat may burn it.

Yeah, my strategy so far was to hang it from a shelf weighted from the top. Then I hung a tiny 1-2 oz. weight from the bottom of it to put a tiny bit of tension on the folds. I'll probably do that tho, find a big book and a big flat area and just leave it for a week or so then check on it.

You may also be able to wet it, ring it out, then lay it flat to let it dry. Or hang it up in your bathroom when you shower and let the steam take out some of the creases.

I got mine somewheres. Definitely beautiful art.

I recommend the smash method not the stretch method. Maybe the wet smash method. Not stretch.

Just put it tightly in a frame..leave creases.

I love my cloth map and I used to press it under a book, it never got it ironed smooth.

but i rather liked the creases, made it looked used like real life loot!
