Default Monk: IFS or PB?

IFS slightly better ratio but so damn slow. What do y'all recommend?

mathematically once your damage bonus is 5 or higher PB beats out IFS dps wise which occurs at level 40.

this would say level 30-39 IFS, level 40-49 PB, level 50+ t-staff or if you cannot afford use a PB. for level 20-29 I am unsure because i think there is still a soft cap on damage until 30.

there is also the consideration that PB weighs 10 stones and IFS is only 4 and IFS ripostes harder than PB so if you are taking hits IFS > PB probably in general but if you are dpsing the back of a mob in a group PB will be better 40+.

oh and i forgot, because of the slower delay and higher potential damage output, the IFS will have a larger damage variance, so some fights it will own a lot harder than PB and some fights it will be much worse.

personally though i hate 2h because they are so slow, i use an adamantite club and a stave of shielding [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

peacebringer, better use of damage bonus for 2h, hits faster.
