![]() I have a level 15 Druid atm and I am using a Scepter of Flame mace, which has +15 mana on it, then traded it for a weapon with +5 Wisdom on it. Both weapons gave me +15 mana, but I am wondering as I level will I gain more mana from the +5 Wisdom, or is how much mana you get per wisdom point always the same?
And if that is how it is, then is it better to twink gear with +Hp/Mana then it is to twink gear with +Wisdom?

![]() Get your wisdom to 201, and then get the rest with hp/mana gear.

![]() Why 201 Wisdom?

![]() It's -basically- 5wis = your level in mana
So like, the 5wis is 15mana for you at level 15. 20 mana at level 20, 30 at level 30, etc. After 200 wis, it's effectiveness is cut in half. 10wis = your level in mana.

![]() That formula is way off.
If you're looking for a basic answer to the question posed in the thread title, then yes, it does. At early levels, 1 WIS = 1 mana. As you continue to level, each point of WIS you have begins to grants a larger value for mana. I'm level 39, and I get between 6 and 7 mana per WIS. Past 200 (or 201, some argue), WIS, the amount of mana per WIS does fall off to a negligible amount (though not as described above). I believe you get 1 mana per 1 WIS for every point over that 200/201 threshold. The same applies to INT, obviously.

So wis can still be useful above 200, but then at that point you should probably be losing wis from other slots and replacing them with +mana items. (eg black sapphire earrings, necklace etc)
