Default Error retrieving newest version

Error while retrieving newest version.
Could not reach webserver. Trying again in 10 seconds.

When I try to load my Eqemu patcher this is what I am getting instead of my normal list of servers. I went to dinner and started getting this when I came home. Can anyone tell me how to get back into the game?

I'm getting the same.

I'm guessing its currently down (or at least the login server is).

Edit: Actually, I checked the EQEmu page and it says its up. Not sure why we can't get the server list.

"Me too"

Heh. I'm glad someone else posted that they were having the same problem as me, as I was just about to go postal on my roommate for messing with my router settings again!

Anyway, same exact issue:
Loading serverlist ...
Could not reach webserver. Trying again in 10 seconds.
Loading serverlist ...
Could not reach webserver. Trying again in 10 seconds.
Loading serverlist ...
Repeat until I close it down. I also can not get to the moestaverne website, so I'm guessing a server is down somewhere, or someone tripped over a cord or something.
:/

Thanks for any help feeding my addiction!

You can bypass the patching by right-clicking and choosing only load everquest.
