Yellow Text

Here's what you do:

On creation, every one auto joins a channel, say "General" (yeah yeah I know channels weren't classic,) this way people who want to have their global OOC can have it, and whoever wants to turn it off can just leave. Global YT can be announced in the channel (without location).

Server is pretty gay w/out yellow text to be honest. Global /ooc definitely off as there are too many annoying 'spergs mouthing off, but YT has several benefits and zero cons (and keeping in the place of kill as it promotes pvp - and last time I checked this wasn't a blue/RZ server)

Yellow Text Pro's:
-promotes pvp
-makes the server less quite, interesting w/ global OOC off
-creates community and drives site traffic to the forums with mass qq and posting of cherished screen shots.

Cons:

If you are advocating yellow text, you are most likely planning on playing a solo power house class, with the intent of trolling outdoor zones mainly.

There is no context provided in yt. Face it - you're also most likely younger and were not old enough to play classic on release.

yellow text is lame, I'm glad it's not going to be in, but zonewide yellow text is classic I thought? At least it was for duels.
