To me, it seems like with the way in which Mage pets are overpowered on every emu except where they're modified (P99), boxing 3 mages and having MQ would serve as an excellent advantage. Considering you'd be able to target someone across a zone, assist on all 3 characters (all mages, the most OP pet class), and send all 3 pets to make some quick work of whoever, I'd say it's pretty damn beneficial. I'm not saying you did that, but there's plenty of benefits to having MQ loaded as a pet class in PvP.
Rogues can't even solo those pets. The 48 necro pet quads for 90 and lifetaps consistently for 105. In context of your chosen class, Salty, you'd have the most to gain in PvP via MQ. If only that alone were a reason for people being constantly on your ass about allegedly hacking, it's a pretty damn reasonable argument/ assertion. So to say you have nothing to gain other than tracking Trakanon, that's silly. You'd potentially have free KS's to gain. An example of an easy kill would be each mage with a different elemental pet, one to root, one to stun, one to do DPS-- maybe even all 3 of the same. Either way, in the current conditions of pets in PvP, 3 pets vs. anyone is almost guaranteed death.

targeting across zone, or out of line sight, is a great way to set off the stock hack detector
also you do more dps behind the pet, once a rogue has epic should literally 1 round if it doesn't have aego.
