Judging from your post and follow up replies I'm guessing you are just trying to get banned on purpose in some kind of blaze of glory.

It's sad to see the tone of posts like this, if I had to guess it may even plant seeds in nilbog's mind to unplug the server. Sometimes I wish he would for like a 10 day stretch to throw some weight around and let everyone know to shape up. To show people that it is just a game and not to bite the hand that feeds. And people like you get an IP ban and all accounts deleted.

Staff doesn't owe us shit, buckaroo. They don't even need to release Chardok 2.0 if they don't want to. Or Green Server, or Discord, or EXP bonus or any GM event.

I echo Llandris' comments about spending time with family and friends on holidays, I would love it if they actually didn't implement any events / EXP bonus during these times. Or maybe randomize it such as Earthquakes (variable for start date, end date, and exp bonus all subject to RNG).

It is a shame to see people shit on GM events, it's like they aren't satisfied unless they get a guise or BiS item. On live I came across a GM event in freeport about some nervous paladin walking around town and recruited a player for protection. The player recruited more people to guard this guy, we heard Dark Elves speaking in their own tongue but couldn't see them (GM invis probably), and eventually they attacked and we slaughtered them and saved the day.

The loot on the 2 Dark Elves? A pair of Fine Steel Daggers each. But lemme tell you, I was immersed as hell. Got my roleplay on, heart pumping... just loved it. I'm guessing staff doesn't dare try that shit here else they'll get a big fat RnF about it.

I thought Braknar's Halloween event was a thing of beauty, I even created a thread about how awesome it was to have that rush of the unknown recreated for a brief time (I didn't even get any loot out of the event, I didn't care). But I don't blame him for not doing another one after people griping about not getting some loot from a boss fight that crashed the zone.

Hell, I remember nilbog made a thread nicely stating how this guy from Pantheon would be coming over in the next week or so in EC tunnel to answer questions and promote Pantheon. The thread was deleted in like a day or less, people posting stupid shit about "lol Brad does drugs" or "vaporware gets released?" or whatever. I mean seriously, imagine the pride nilbog must have had to be contacted from the game creators of a game BRAD MCQUAID is making, the same Brad responsible for the project he has painstakingly recreated over 9 years to have his player base make embarrassing comments like that? No one should expect a damn thing from staff after having players behave that way.

Threads like this shouldn't exist or have a lifespan as long as it does, you may be chuckling at how you are saying these offensive comments and getting a rise out of everyone but damn man, have some dignity and respect.

That said, IMO staff doesn't owe us anything. They put in the work to provide a functioning server in their own free time. This is not their day job. They do not get paid. If this was a subscription service I'd be more willing to agree with your position, but it is not. Hell, I'm even surprised they have GMs ingame to resolve disputes and answer petitions.
