I'm disapointed in the people running this server, and they don't owe me anything!

No holiday event? 25% exp boost sure, but really? NOTHING else. I don't play this game for EXP. I am going to sound like an incredibly entitled moron, but this feels like the thread for it. Allow me to vent please.

Don't allow a populated server to stagnate. Where is your hospitality? Why aren't you posting at least ONCE per week on the main page? WHY aren't you keeping us engaged? There are only a few of you from what I understand. Working for free. If you've lost your passion to maintain and entice, then pass-the-buck. Give the server to another. A complicated thing, and I understand that.

If you are checked out, then move on and allow another to take the reigns. No-one would blame you. What the hell? We are all asshole elfsim addicts. Just pass the torch. You all feel invisible!

Wah wah... You don't get paid. You all have an OBLIGATION to thousands of players. You all signed up for this. If you feel you're in too deep it's because you have succeeded. Succeeded in providing us some much nostalgia and joy. We aren't going anywhere.

Please keep us engaged. Please post something on the official page. Even if just once a week. You do not OWE us a single thing, though I do feel you have an obligation. Pass the torch, or step up a bit.

The people who have made this server what it is. A FUC**** MASTERPIECE absolutely DO have an obligation to the populace. I do NOT wish I had influence over so many people. The passion many of us have for their incredible work is unsurpassed in my opinion. If the server was shut down tomorrow I know that I would cry, and lie to you all that I didn't. Truly a masterpiece of skill, ingenuity and patience. Give us a weekly newsletter, or something. Anything. I believe I speak for all when I say we appreciate you all so very much.

Joking obviously. Seriously though, there are plenty of player run events to participate in if you're actively keeping an eye out for them. Them keeping the server on is all I really expect. Also (and I know this is minor) but Llandris showed up in the tunnel for some shenanigans and Sirken gnomed everyone in WC. They have a presence, so to call them invisible feels a bit harsh.

I know it looks like I'm just white knighting for the staff but that's how I feel, I guess.

It's Nougat. I RAN THE 4th of July event. It took me hours to get the mats for the fireworks after realizing the admins weren't going to do anything. I agree that player run events help keep this server alive.

Where are the server admins though? Server admins maybe aren't paid anything, but be present please! Let us know what's going on! "We love you all. Please remember we do not tolerate two-boxing." And then next week "fill in the blank." SOMETHING. There is absolutely an obligation.

I posted here to rant and expecting trolls. I think that's what this forum is for.

Server admins- If you don't want to be present then find someone who would like to be present. We all understand children are born, family pass away and you get sick. Months without some kind of post though? There are plenty admins to engage us.
