True, but it's one thing for that kind of shit to crop up from time to time, and it's another for it to happen systematically and universally among fundamentalist Islamic states and organizations. Try being gay/trans/anything, or even atheist, in a sharia country.
I've read statistics from multiple sources showing that there are a great deal more openly homosexual/trans people in the middle east than there are in Amurika. Not claiming its not more dangerous there obv, but for every killing of a homosexual in the middle east you have a homosexual committing suicide in the states.

That's what I'm sayin! And its not like all of this killing is a new thing.

You guys ever heard of the crusades?

Anyway, government and religion go hand in hand.

each institution uses the other to keep people pacified

Man wasn't made to be subjugated or controlled by any god or government. We are animals that are currently not existing in our natural habitat.

We are essentially being held un captivity by all religions and governments.
way before the crusades happened they allredy have took the old roman provicens on north africa, invaded and crushed the visigoths in spain, invaded france, sieged even roma .

Try being female.
Almost every religion treats women like shit, but Muslims and Sharia Law take the cake BY FAR.

[citation needed]

also, and more importantly, you can't seriously be equating suicide with murder

Here is the problem with that though. A quote from Jim Jones himself.
"I decided, how can I demonstrate my Marxism? The thought was, infiltrate the church. So I consciously made a decision to look into that prospect."

Marxism is a secular movement, not a religious one. So in this instance where do you actually lay the blame? He ran a "church", but he based it all on Marxist ideals.

Who cares what it was "based on"? Christianity was supposedly based on peace, generosity and sacrifice, yet it's arguably the most corrupt and greedy regime on the planet.

Tied with Judaism. But that's only because it's over time vs. recent developments, respectively.
