false equivalency with a consideration of time. it's on the regular that someone is executed in a sharia controlled area for an offense to islam. fundamentalist christians aren't executing people openly. they hide like cowards. it's like in india with the girls being gang raped and publicly hanged in their shame. basically uneducated, poor, and in areas where gov don't give a fuck tends to get people in those areas thinking some stupid shit.

Actually, once you get into Africa, there's a group called Boku Haram (maybe it's Boko Haram, can't remember at the moment) that are Christian extremists who are being all genocidal, killing off anyone of any other religion (and whitey) that gets in their path. Plus they do the whole gang rape and execute thing too.

Boko Haram is muslim. You're thinking of the other trendy African warlord, Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army. They practice a synthesis of local paganism, Islam, and Christianity, thus they are hardly 'Christian' compared to ISIS, Al-Qaeda, Al-Nusra, etc which are very purely fundamentalist Islamic.

True, but it's one thing for that kind of shit to crop up from time to time, and it's another for it to happen systematically and universally among fundamentalist Islamic states and organizations. Try being gay/trans/anything, or even atheist, in a sharia country.

I've read statistics from multiple sources showing that there are a great deal more openly homosexual/trans people in the middle east than there are in Amurika. Not claiming its not more dangerous there obv, but for every killing of a homosexual in the middle east you have a homosexual committing suicide in the states.
