OP is 'Original Poster', ie., you in this thread. l33t is an alternate spelling of 'elite', which more or less means 'cool', but also makes fun of the user for being a dork.

Oh, Elite Speak... yea I have heard of that before, never used it myself though. I never got the reason behind it.
