Guys this game clearly rules and I think we should pour one out for brad and the rest of the original dev team every now and then. I'm sure there are more people playing some jrpg thing where you trade bathroom tiles or whatever, but that doesn't mean those are good games.

I don't like how a lot of times my groups are so twinked that the content feels more trivial than World of Warcraft. Not that there's anything wrong with twinking. I understand why people do it, but the last several groups I was in on my Enchanter the people in my groups were so ridiculously geared and had guild mates drive-by buffing us / rezzing us if need be, to the point where it didn't even feel like I was playing EQ.

I miss early P99 green where the only tank we could find was a non-twink monk in cloth armor, and then one day, having a dwarf paladin with full bronze armor and two gnoll hide lariats join the group and it suddenly felt like we won the lottery.

My fave part of early green was being 3 melees sharing a static spawn they isolated, having to wait a but after respawn to get back to fighting fitness and during that time a single mage +pet that the party outlevelled would take over the spawn and would kill it much faster/safer with no down time.

The mage would race to 30 and complain the game was too hard as research pets were difficult so 50 would take a while (the same melees were up to lvl 12 at this point).

On Rallos Zek you used to be able to intentionally exp loss people with trains well into Velious. They should get rid of PnP and let wild west laws rule again. This server has created Charmin ultra soft players.

I remember Flowers of Happiness Training a MiM raid. Those dudes got a temp ban and some perm.
