work nights One week every Five & when I'm done with my Firewall checks I always seem to gravitate back to Youtube & lately, have been watching Sirken's Channel.

I find it enough of a challenge PvE, let alone having someone gank you after a nights hard work.
I always envisioned you (Red) being energy drink fuelled insomniac's with Anger issues.

& why does it seem that sometimes some characters are left alone (I mean in a zone you've just cleared or entered etc), is it down to guild affilliations?
How do you tell who is who?? /Assist & a gameplan I assume?

Anyway, /kudos to you as it looks like a whole new level of Fun.
need lots of free time and very little commitment from loved ones, then its a breeze, ive found that my early 20s made this much easier, i was working less hours, not chasing pussy, and putting zero time in the gym. Now its a bitch to stay online long enough to get a yellow xp.

Ain't that the truth Knuckle.

I took a hiatus while the boys were little but now they'd rather spend time on the X-box killing their friends than kicking a ball around with Dad I found myself with the time to actually play again & it's great.

My playtime is still very casual. But I'm aiming to play at least One night per week to get some kind of social circle back up & running.

It really comes down to this: regardless of why you end up in PVP embrace it as a part of the experience and learn from it. When I get dunked I take the Andrew Luck approach and compliment my attacker, if you don't get heated and look at the situation objectively the loser usually made a sloppy erro; he didnt invis or chose not to check the zone regularly. My favorite person on red once said something to me that made PVP easier to "get" for me. He said: "PVP on this box is 10% skill, the rest is all luck and preparation." So every time I head somewhere it's fully buffed, with a pumice, with the right spell set for the zone I'm moving to. I see new players with the approach being discussed here about just exping and if they get killed just taking it and moving on. I like that you aren't taking to OOC butthurt but you are missing an opportunity to make yourself stronger by acknowledging your part in the fight.
Sums it up in a very eloquent way, bravo.

Here is my advice from new player to new player.
I highly recommend not turning on roleplay or anonymous to hide your level or locations. First you will find that people will randomly send you tell to join their group or do things. Second, you will need to build pvp experience somehow, so you might as well start learning from level 1.
I figured I'd not use /anon until I had something worth hiding. Really appreciate the tip's, thank you.

One thing that does puzzle me, why would guild mates take out each other? Is it Boredom??

That sounds like it's the only way with I'll be able to cope eating the (multiple no doubt) deaths. Thanks again Veltira, these are all really helpful tip's & it's slowly coming together. Itching to get stuck in.

Good question, but I'm still flying solo right now.

How do we do it, as in handle pvp? Sportsmanship, if you take a 16 year old game more serious then it should be. Then there might be an issue. Like gongshow says every one is a human being behind the keyboard, and if you treat somebody like shit because you value pixels/other imaginary things more then them you got problems. Its a competitive game and we play for competition but the extent you go to to play is entirely up to you.
