How the hell do you do it?
 

While many of my friends jumped over to TZ back in the day I stayed on Vazaelle & while I loved it there, I always wondered...how the hell do you cope?

I've been playing Eq on & off for 15 years. With Kid's, work, life etc, playing as & when I found the time & recently started out life again on 99 Blue
work nights One week every Five & when I'm done with my Firewall checks I always seem to gravitate back to Youtube & lately, have been watching Sirken's Channel.

I find it enough of a challenge PvE, let alone having someone gank you after a nights hard work.
I always envisioned you (Red) being energy drink fuelled insomniac's with Anger issues.

& why does it seem that sometimes some characters are left alone (I mean in a zone you've just cleared or entered etc), is it down to guild affilliations?
How do you tell who is who?? /Assist & a gameplan I assume?

Anyway, /kudos to you as it looks like a whole new level of Fun.

I just love it. It's really that simple.

Fair enough, but being honest, do you think a newbie (to Red) really could have 'fun' without smashing the monitors to bit's in frustration?
I know my zones & raided a little, but it looks like a whole new level.

Yes I do because I see it happen quite often. To be fair that monitor smashing frustration is part of the appeal of the server IMO. Plenty of people manage to avoid it, others deal with it well, and some don't. If you want to give it an earnest try I believe you will regret not doing it sooner.

Did it last September as a woodelf warrior. Managed fine you quickly meet a core group leveljng up and build from there.

I've rolled a Troll Tank & will see how I get on. It's exciting & I'm looking forward to getting stuck into a whole new mindset.
Is there a 'tip's & tricks for not getting your ass handed to you repeatedly' thread/post anyplace that could help a newbie out?
