I couldn't tell you, I've never installed their launcher, just use DAoC Portal like always.

I wouldn't fret over player cap. They've ordered new hardware and should have the server upgraded within 1 week. I will give it 2 weeks and then it should be smooth sailing from then on out.

I guess they didn't expect 1400+ ppl logged in. I think 350 was what they had planned since the original server cap was 500.

One of the GMs posted that they've 5600+ accounts registered already (also confirmed by the screenie above), no wonder the server was so unstable the first several days or so. Another reason why so many people from Uthgard migrated to Origins, is cause as old as Uthgard is, it's still not complete, and they kept promising the old RA system and SI content for years without much to show for it. I guess everyone got fed up with waiting for the day that'll never come.

yep, I installed the portal and things got better right away.

got in a group in spindelhalla for about an hour and my dude went from naked to a full suit and all bags full of gear.

what do I do with this stuff that I can't use just vendor it all or give it away?

It would've been true if you had put Kunark in there too, because it took way too long (3 years after server went up) for it to release on P99 as well!

Put it in your vault. There's a vault keeper in GNA Faste near Spindelhalla. Actually if you can save some chain gear for me and my shaman friend, as well as any accessories with piety/dex/hits/power bonuses on them, would appreciate it!

We basically went 1-25 in 3-4 hrs of xpin with a decent group, especially once I got POM2 and 2 pbaoe casters in our group, we were chain killing moderately sized pulls of red-grape+ mobs, taking them all down in under 10 seconds. But I have to wait for a couple more players to join us. If you want to try another class like a caster or something, Suppression Spiritmaster (pbaoe) or Runemaster (PBT) would go a long way with our group! If we can find 2-3 pbaoe bombers to roll/group with us regularly, we'll have a blast in RvR with my 9 second AE stuns on top of the AE mezzes.
