I care about this nation not giving a shit about blacks being racist but whenever a white person is racist it becomes national news. The double standard is fucking annoying. Racism is a two way street and I realize that is hard for you to grasp but dwell on it a bit.

African Americans have a shitty past with this country, we get it, that does not excuse them to take it out on the generation that had nothing to do with slavery by being more racist than our ancestors.

You are right that they shouldn't take it out on you, there is never an excuse for ignorance and hatred.

But that doesn't mean you have no responsibility for what happened, after all you benefit, and continue to benefit from it. This country was built on the backs of minorities, and on stolen lands. Also, as I'm sure you are well aware racism both individual and institutional as well as cultural still exists (sometimes perpetrated by minorities themselves.) But it's not a two way street, at the end of the day you are still white and they are still not-white.

I don't blame you, or hate you for it either. It's just how it is, but it's both intellectually and morally dishonest to pretend there is a level playing field. Honestly I would never want to be white, but it must be nice.
