This is also good for bards when ae kiting - I used to get little lag spikes when people were zoning into ot which would wipe me. This helped fix the problem.

But money is not an issue, so SSD for me please =). Plus it allows me to do all sorts of other things while I'm grouping on my Cleric =)

I've got OSX on one SSD and Windows 7 on another. I highly recommend it.

Oh yeah my bad, I play on red which is a reason why I wanted to be zoning faster. I mentioned about zoning into other people who were seconds behind me and already had a nuke halfway casted by time I loaded. This is a must have for red pvp, I haven't seen it with bard kiting yet though but I never lagged much before.

I forgot to mention, For some reason clicking stop ramdisk doesn't work. I have googled all over to no luck, A friend had the same issue and he simply goes back into disk management and right clickes the disk # and clicks offline then ramdisk will stop. However I do not have the online/offline option, Not sure if this is a windows 7 vs his winxp difference or what. But I googled around for answers also and still, nothing. I am stuck with ramdisk running nearly 24/7(don't know if this puts extra strain on computer or whatnot) unless I reboot and don't start ramdisk until I login to EQ which I generally am on most of the time.

I just need to find a way to disable it for when im watching movies tv shows etc doing non eq stuff.

not sure if this has been mentioned

but with this method, if you haven't been able to stop the ramdisk driver

right click the drive in disk management (on the part where it says disk #) and hit offline

u can now stop ramdisk driver
