Blue 2.0
Green 2.0
You can talk to the POD and teleport to Red 2.0 to have PVP battles and teleport back.
Red 1.0 is burned for fuel
In all seriousness, I thought they might actually do a variant of that. There was a (100% classic) command called /guildwar, and it let two guilds PvP flag themselves to fight each other.

Sadly they never implemented it on Green, but if they had it would have let Green have a "mini-Red" inside it. There could have been two PvP guilds at war with each other, and if you wanted to PvP you could simply join one of those two guilds. Then if you got tired of it, you could just leave.

It would have let all the PvPers do their PvP thing, but still trade, group, and generally interact with the rest of the (non-PvP) server.

There can still be, back when i rerolled on green for a little bit I rolled a red char on green and there was like 14 other ppl who all pvpd with me in qeynos it was good times.

All ppl have to do is flag pvp and stick with it and not be big babies. And PnP needs to be deleted from all three servers.

True, but if you PvP flag yourself on a non-PvP server, there are limits. For instance, I don't think non-PvPers can heal you, which makes joining groups difficult.

As I understood it, being in a guild war guild wouldn't have had that side effect.

They never confirmed the merge would happen. As others have already said they mentioned merging and then walked it back and said they would see.

"Green Lifetime
The green server will, at a time yet to be decided, eventually merge into blue and start over again. This merge will not happen until at least 6 months after the last patch in velious (No earlier than January 2023)."

People need to start citing sources.

The point of P99 is not Blue Server. Nor is it Green Server. The point has always been to relive the first couple years of EverQuest by progressing through the patch history month by month. So launch, adjustments, add Fear, add Hate, add Sky, add Kunark, adjustments, add Epics, adjustments, add Velious, adjustments, and end.

And after completing the timeline, we go through the timeline again.

And we merge each server back into Blue, so you can always go play your characters whenever you want, in a living Norrath.

This is the goal of the Project. It's frustrating people don't understand that, or are in denial about it.

Agree with everything you said here.

That said, it's difficult to deny that RogBog seem to be checked out for the most part. Little to no engagement with the community and the initially mentioned merger timeframe is soon approaching.

What I think is likely, is that the above sentiment is what their original plan for the server was, and for whatever reason, they seem less invested in making further iterations a reality.

They had a plan to do a progression release, and they did the thing. Maybe doing the thing again and again is sounding less attractive? Idk.

I hope they do go through with the merge though. These days, most of my playtime is duoing with my brother, and having access to my blue characters will open up a lot more duo options for us.

I don’t blame them for not being engaged. Read these forums and the discord: their project has become infected with terrible people…it’s a cesspool. If I were them I wouldn’t want to engage with everyone either
