Honestly I'd be embarrassed to be Trump and campaign on the strength of my business acumen when I know deep down I'm a trust fund baby and there are people like Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, and Larry Page out there with actual skill and vision.

Good post but you really need to watch past episodes of Vice on HBO. A lot of immigration is not the result of economic factors. The US deports foreign-born gang members who then organize and terrorize their countries of origin. Vice is mainstream media. They pull in over a billion dollars a year in advertising revenue. They're getting a cable news network. This isn't conspiracy theory. They actually interview people who are in transit across Mexico, where female immigrants are routinely raped. They're coming to the US for physical security, not economic reasons exclusively.

Same thing in Syria. Obama is sitting in the white house having a jolly old time watching drones bomb the shit out of Syria. The proxy war in Syria has made habitation unsafe. Thus the mass migration to Europe. It's about physical security, the ability to coninue to be alive. Economics is part of that, but it's not the whole story.

You seem mad. I would be too if I supported someone who is so obviously incompetent. I'm not mad at Trump. The level of support he has received confirms everything I've always suspected about the average intelligence of my fellow humans. I don't really have a dog in this fight because I don't participate in the political process. Electronic voting machines cannot be audited, so democracy is the intellectual property of companies like Diebold that manufacture them and create the proprietary software that runs them. But you seem super invested.

"You're stupid for not being apathetic about the inevitable destruction of your ancestors' civilization." Fuck off back to blacked.com. Apathy was cute around the middle school lunch table.

There are people in this thread who seem to be saying that because some urban myth was propagated about people celebrating in New Jersey when the WTC came down that a presidential candidate is under no greater responsibility to fact check those myths than the posters in this thread. There were some kids in New Jersey who committed vandalism and made asses of themselves because they got out of school early due to 9/11:

That's it. If there were thousands and thousands of people celebrating the destruction of the WTC, don't you think there would be archival footage of it?

Whether thousands of people were celebrating is irrelevant, a lot of people celebrated it in other countries as well and his point that a huge portion of muslims hate the US is not inaccurate.

All of this has nothing to do with why he is appealing and I could care less if he makes fun of a retard, bashes some fucking stupid religion, or talks out of his ass sometimes.

He's obviously competent at running a business, is willing to take on people who try to bully him and make him change, takes on the corrupt media and is self funding his campaign so he owes nobody nothing.

Will he make greesey deals to further himself? Probably, and I'm sure he wants to do this for his legacy, but his views are in line with most of mine about how we need to stick up for ourselves and our culture not just bow down to everyone.

The media is obviously out to try to destroy him in hugely biased debates, the stories they say are manipulated. I hate the entire politically correct fake politician system more than I like Trump.

It's mainly a fuck you to the fake bought off self serving establishment for me.

Hillary Clinton raised $28 million in third quarter, just edging out Bernie Sanders. The inside track on Washington politics.
By Matea Gold and John Wagner September 30.
Hillary Rodham Clinton has raised $75 million so far for her 2016 presidential bid, including $28 million in the third quarter of this year.

Half of the reported money in the campaign so far has come from donations to groups outside the campaigns, like “super PACs,” that are not subject to limits.

Who is not sick of this garbage?
