the worst part of this misunderstanding.

yes it is a misunderstanding. I will be the bigger man and say we were both unaware of somethings.

but yeah the worst part is, u am usually pretty friendly with the guy and enjoy playing with him. he logged so abruptly I didn't even have a chance to make him see my point of view so we could reach a compromise shake on it and go grab a beer.

we both have valid points. hell I was ready to play wit new monk and also let him try playing mine to see if he likes it.

it's just a shame and unfortunate circumstances the gms would rather create bitter enemies than a cool playing environment.

thats the real issue, and ofcourse rl attacks, mace quest etc spawns from all this silly shit that could be avoided if people acted like human beings once in a while

Also I'd say I know what Tune means about peer mediation. I was always the mediator growing up. Even problems that you helped fix, and people you helped put back together, eventually turn on you and won't give you the same mediation.

I learned not to give too much if you are perceived to have a higher status (economic, money, social) than the group of people you are helping. Because they won't return the favor when you're the one who needs help and mediation on a beef. Their attitude is fuck 'em, he was the mediator he will be fine dealing with his own problem. Yeah that's fine, but sometimes certain beefs need mediation regardless of whatever bullshit status of the people involved. And mediators always return the favor so learn to recognize good pals n help 'em out, ya feelers?

Its really important in real life with a network of friends, acquaintances etc to keep peoples issues, concerns, problems. etc with mediation and good mediators. Good mediators are rare n usually not the captain of the ship, but the Quartermaster.

In the case of elfsim, I'd say what peer mediation??

You have a point in that the forums turn us all into monsters. I'm out for a bit. Peace.

really good post. i'm busy trying to rate a lot of other posts right now but i detected all the earmarks of a high quality post when skimming. peer mediation and pure meditation, that's how you keep ya ship on course.

EDIT: just found time to read the whole thing, good stuff
I figured Tune was in need of some emotional support so kicked a little game into his hypertrophied forehead.

Enough for him to say "ya, azzar understands" and subsequently log out of the forums for the night feeling satiated. We're all human u kno?

Still part-time petitionquesting the end of his elfsim career.

Assuming people like you describe exist here, all that means is they spend the time they don't spend playing EQ on other things. Rag still posts here, though I believe he's playing Nost. And maybe there's some former player who's now an engineer or some shit, who knows. But I realize it's popular and normal to pretend to be friendless, overweight, and devoid of redeeming qualities around here, so carry on.

Samwise plays. Rag plays.

Imagine people who actually know who you're?
