If perma-bans don't even deter some people from breaking the rules, why do you think in-game warnings will do any better. How about people just follow the rules? I've never come close to a suspension for anything. I don't get it.

As for saving GM time. You already have players who abuse the hell out of getting corpses summoned after letting them rot. I believe the time saved dealing with the few people dumb enough to break the rules will be nullified by the increased amount of corpse summons. I also believe GM's dealing with LNS violators helps them in the long run because the same players breaking these rules surely break others.

LNS allows people to get their corpse on their own time without help. Not everyone plays 2-3 hours a day. Hell, some people only play 1 day a week. LNS helps casuals in all guilds and is definitely something that helps the population, not hinder it.

Quit being assholes and dumbasses. It really boggles my mind of how much of a problem you guys think this is. Just follow the rules and everyone wins.

Sorry you think you are entitled to abusing rules by trying to call LNS almost a week after you died in Mass pvp. Just because you dont play here much doesnt mean you should be a toxic cry baby and go on a rampage to get anyone and everyone you can suspended.
Red is bleeding enough players as it is.
This is a PVP server, if you cant handle dieing on a video game then you need to take some time off.

1. There is no time limit for LNS. Read the rules before telling me about abuse. Sorry I do not play this game like my life depends on it.

2. I did not die to mass pvp. I died to a few people camping the OT port in by myself. I was on a corpse run long before ANY mass pvp was going on. The mass pvp did not involve me in any way nor did I have any intention of joining it, especially on a half naked sub 60. From my prospective (fraps), there was no pvp going on anywhere near me (OT, TD, Oasis, N ro, EC, Nek forest, Nek.)

3. I simply reported someone not following the rules. Nothing toxic about it. The only toxic behavior is people who consistently break the rules. If it means losing a player then so be it. Red doesn't need those type of people.

You're right, this is a pvp server. And since you are new around here I'll let that comment slide. I played when there was xp loss and no rules. I've lost my level plenty of times to pvp. I've also had people sit on my corpse for hours. Never did I cry about it but tbh I am glad those days are gone. You want to see low pop? Revert the server to how it was before the pnp.

Why don't you tell us about it? (Who are you?)

Assuming people like you describe exist here, all that means is they spend the time they don't spend playing EQ on other things. Rag still posts here, though I believe he's playing Nost. And maybe there's some former player who's now an engineer or some shit, who knows. But I realize it's popular and normal to pretend to be friendless, overweight, and devoid of redeeming qualities around here, so carry on.

Samwise plays. Rag plays.

Imagine people who actually know who you're?

Attack me when I'm naked I'm prepared

Unless I spam LNS in say/shout/OOC every time a new person enters zone (onus on the dead to inform), I plan to get my corpse the hard way

LnS wasn't even a thing on live. Back on live if you zone camped (what others may call zone dancing) bind camped, or corpse camped and got caught. That meant a warning on your account, too many in a row and you.got suspended.

However GM support for a server like this is limited at best, so the LnS system is needed.
