Eagle rare is pretty good. Picked up a single barrel picked by party source last timeI was in KY. Was 25 bucks. Larceny and Buffalo Trace just as good though for cheaper.

Bulleit good if you're a fan of high rye content.

Bulleit Rye has been slowly taking over my life. This shit is delicious.

Scotch: I tend to love the Balvenie 12 year double wood, but prefer the 14yr caribbean cask. Balvenie has been going up a lot in price tho lately.

That's cause every time you read an article someone is recommending Balvenie 12 year old double wood for scotch beginners. It's a nice light scotch easy to drink straight and goes down smooth. I'd be curious about the rum cask aged one though.
