Worse thing about playing a Paladin.....(contaned inside).

My main on Live was a paladin, I stopped at SoD expansion and I remember even then when I would go to break mez missing a few times and everyone in the group laughing at me. Good times.

I have 0 issues finding groups here. Sadly as of late, due to poor play times, I've had to decline groups. I also don't have any issues soloing here. I use a BoF that I bought for 90p and have looted/quested almost all of my items. Purchased rings and arms. Yeah, you will miss on some swings, but you also get to heal and stun between swings. So it seems to even out, at least from my perspective. I would assume you'd hit more frequently as a ogre or troll SK.

I engaged Faydedar around a month ago with my decked out 60 paly and I swear I probably missed attacks 60% of the silly 40 sec or whatever fight

for reference- an unhasted lvl 52 N/V monk out DPS'd him by like 300 damage lol

Thankfully, Flash of Light is such a solid aggro spell, cause I miss so damn often. It's a miracle when I string together hits.

But I loves my Paladin.

A miss gets the same agro as a hit. Melee agro is per swing and is affected by weapon base damage & primary hand damage bonus if applicable, and is reduced by a fixed percentage for 2handers. High strength will do more damage, which is good in and of itself, but it has zero effect on melee threat.

is this different for pets? my pet will definitely not take aggro on a mob until it gets a hit or two in, assuming i've snared the mob or something
