Class Epic MQ's: Why are some outrageously priced?

I think I'm going to start rocking some monk epics. 100k for the effort is way better than 25k for the rogue epic. One group can do all the kills fairly easily. Chardok pipe is so easy to get. So challenge is the KC pipe (5k?) My guess is the monk epic will be the next to drop in price once people realize that its doable by one group of friends who are willing to share in the profits.

If you can get the right group of people, for sure. Organizing it around everyone's time is the real battle.

Prices are insane because blues economy is so insanely inflated with platinum and items.

Also people sell those on red but not for nearly as much, and it's infinitely easier to get an epic on any class. Pure greed and an underground RMT market drive blues MQ epic prices.

Prices across the board have been monotonically dropping this year on 99% of the things that can be sold on blue. Everything from an FBSS to even druid and ranger epic MQs are more affordable than ever.
