I feel like contributing to this thread. I have had a change of heart.

I too, feel my immersion is being destroyed piece by piece, brick by brick every time I see some awful, unimaginative name in our sacred home called Norrath!

Let's make Norrath great again, and root out the names that are defiling P99.

Instead of pretending to care, and creating dialogue, we should all contribute to Norrathian society and manifest our own lists, just as Baler has started.

Let's all take a figurative knee, and join figurative hands with Baler on this. Let's start creating lists with him.

Together anything is possible, without one another there is nothing.

My posts are not a troll. All of the names I post come directly from character's names on P99 Blue. Furthermore names that anyone other than names I post are probably not real characters on blue or have been retired long ago. I am not here to point fingers, perhaps other people's posted names are real players on p99. I only want to see this blemish on Project 1999 dealt with. Some people have posted fake names. Which are vastly less creative then the names I have noticed and posted that violate the naming policy.

Woodfoot is two words lazily slapped together.

Two slapped together words is encouraged by the policy, especially for surnames.

Depends on the words, but I tend to agree. Woodfoot is mediocre at best unless he has a good bit of more substantiating it. Quality compound word names that come to mind:

Twowords
Slappedtogether
Encouragedpolicy
