Project 1999 Naming Policy
https://www.project1999.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=17488
Why is this not actively enforced? The server is flooded with players who's names violate the Naming Policy. Some of these players are level 50+ all the way to level 60's. Are you telling me the staff didn't notice this violation in all the time it took these players to reach level 60? I have seen on sirken's stream where he communicates and see's names that violate the naming policy and does nothing to fix it. (whether that is his area or not the names should be properly reported) My point with mentioning this is that it seems like staff are ignoring the Naming Policy unless the name is truely vulgar. Problem with that is the Naming Policy explicitly states what is not acceptable and it reaches much further then only vulgarity. I have tried petitioning on the forums & in game. Neither has been proactive. Please don't sweep this under the carpet. |
I take it you don't like grouping with Weehdmastehr Blazingit and his friend Thedotfather?

Why not play the game and worry bout urself?

Are you reporting every name violation you see?
|
I have not noticed a vast number of "offensive" names on P99. In fact, I cannot recall one name at this time that I found offensive. I am sure some exist, but by your post I would think there was an epidemic of awful offensive names and I don't think this is the case. I was on SWTOR, and seen WAY more offensive names there than I have seen here.

The "classic" naming policy was too rigid anyway. Stop snitchin
|
most offensive or ridiculous name are EC mule's name... haven't seen lots of ridiculous names anywhere else...
|
I think I've reported 2 names before. They were vulgar. Lots of other names I see are just straight lack of imagination, I shake my head and move on with the rest of my life.
