Any idea where I can find the client version for Mac? My discs are from Feb '05 and are version 1.2

If your disks are 1.2 then I don't think you can get an earlier version for the Mac, as all disks were originally just 1.0 (no patches),with all patch content downloaded, and the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, and Cataclysm being the only other CDs aside from the original World of Warcraft CDs.

Nah, I wanted to contest raid mobs. Would have played solely for that.

If your wanting just vanilla WoW, it seems like a good server. Were 100+ online at like 2am, and a healthy amount at 5:30 am.

Just not what I was looking for based on what it was supposed to be.

Well, to be fair, you aren't looking for a vanilla WoW server. You are looking for a day 1 WoW server. (in regards to WF)

And yeah, instances not being PVPable like he said sucks (I didn't even know that - I was still under the impression they were), but if that was his intention I have every bit of faith he'll make it work. Server has only been up for 3 weeks after all and they have already made an enormous amount of progress.

I made a human warrior as that's what I played on live, I feel like an idiot though because I can't remember at all what talents or gear I should use to level. Strangely though I remembered all of the quests in the first couple of zones so far. Too bad I missed the double xp weekend.

Yeah, realized what I really wanted was basically a Day 1 server.

When ppl say Vanilla, I think back to MC and Pre-MC... not the last patch before BC.

I dunno, might mess around on it at some point. But I dont see instances going contested due to coding and PnP issues. Bnet kiddies couldnt handle contested zones.

I've got a guild rolling on Horde. Any red pals are welcome - all past forum trolling and such put aside. It's not too late to hop in and start catching up. I'll be glad to help any fellow PVPers get on their feet however I can - I'm a level 42 priest atm.

Also, if you decide to join the server, use me as a reference. I get 5 gold from it and will gladly pass it all on to you to help level and such.
